The Electrolytic Scale Reducer is designed to help limit limescale build-up in domestic water systems, supporting the protection of downstream pipework and water-using equipment.
Manufactured from T2 copper with a chrome-plated finish and an internal zinc electrolytic element, the unit operates without an external power supply, chemical dosing or replacement cartridges.
Its compact inline design integrates directly into compatible water supply pipework. Available with 15 mm or 22 mm compression connections, it is suitable for domestic installations requiring additional protection against the effects of hard water.
With no moving parts or routine servicing requirements, it offers a convenient approach to scale management.

How It Works
As water passes through the unit, the copper body and zinc element produce an electrolytic effect intended to influence how scale-forming minerals form deposits. This helps reduce their tendency to form hard, adherent limescale on downstream surfaces.
The unit operates without external electricity or chemical dosing. It is designed for scale reduction and does not remove hardness minerals from the water.
