Product Description

The KIVO Straight Automatic Bypass Valve helps maintain the minimum water flow required in sealed central heating systems. It opens automatically when the differential pressure reaches the selected setting, allowing water to circulate through the bypass as flow through the heating circuit becomes restricted.

With an adjustable differential pressure range of 0.1–0.5 bar, the valve can be set to suit system requirements, helping protect boilers and circulation pumps from insufficient flow and excessive differential pressure.

Manufactured from CW617N brass, it offers durable construction for long-term service. The straight configuration suits inline pipework arrangements, providing a practical solution for compatible domestic and commercial sealed heating systems.

How It Works

As heating circuit valves close or restrict flow, the differential pressure across the bypass valve increases. When it reaches the selected setting, the valve opens to provide an alternative circulation path. As differential pressure falls, the valve closes again.
