Product Description
The Antifreeze Valve is designed to provide automatic frost protection for air source heat pump (ASHP) systems and outdoor heating circuits.
When the water temperature falls to approximately 3°C, the valve automatically opens to discharge water from the system, helping to reduce the risk of freezing and potential damage to heat pumps, pipework and associated components. Once the temperature rises to approximately 4°C, the valve automatically closes.
Manufactured from high-quality CW617N brass, the valve offers durable and reliable performance in demanding outdoor heating applications. Its fully mechanical operation requires no external power supply, providing dependable freeze protection even during a power failure.
